Duli W. is a highly experienced licensed massage therapist with nearly 20 years in practice. A graduate of Lincoln Technical School in Somerville, MA, Duli blends deep clinical knowledge with a strong foundation in holistic healing. His journey into bodywork was inspired early on by his father, who studied acupressure and shiatsu. Acting as his father’s practice model, he felt firsthand the profound mental and physical benefits—an experience that sparked a lifelong passion for healing through bodywork.
Before becoming a massage therapist, Duli taught art classes in an afterschool program and worked in health and human services with senior groups. His background in caregiving and education laid the groundwork for his compassionate and intuitive approach to massage therapy. His love for massage grew further from seeing bodywork as a tool for maintaining one’s well-being. He’s encountered many clients that struggle with various mental health issues (anxiety, depression, etc.), and has seen first hand how routine self-care with bodywork can greatly impact not only the physical bodies but also one’s state of mind.
Duli’s style is a seamless blend of holistic relaxation and targeted therapeutic techniques. He integrates deep tissue and trigger point work with an intuitive touch, offering both soothing and corrective treatments. His ideal clients are those who are open-minded and communicative—people willing to explore their own healing journey and incorporate self-care techniques like stretching outside of sessions.
His dedication to whole-body wellness extends beyond massage. Duli is a Reiki Master with over 20 years of experience, and he also practices Tai Chi and Qi Gong. These disciplines inform his sessions, infusing them with a deep sense of balance, awareness, and energy alignment.
Outside of his massage practice, Duli is a visual artist who primarily paints, and he’s often described as a deeply intuitive healer—some even call him a shaman. He finds inspiration in nature, movement, and spiritual exploration. One of his favorite books is The Way of the Peaceful Warrior by Dan Millman, a fitting reflection of his belief in mindfulness, inner strength, and the healing power of touch.
