Jen E.

Jen graduated from the Cortiva Institute in Boston and has been a licensed massage therapist since 2016. Before pursuing massage therapy, she worked in retail and healthcare, but her true calling became clear while working at a group home. Her supervisor, a retired massage therapist, frequently asked her for shoulder rubs and encouraged her to consider massage school. With that vote of confidence, Jen began researching programs and, within days, found herself at orientation.

She fell in love with massage when she saw how it could create lasting pain relief. Her passion deepened due to her father’s struggle with severe rheumatoid arthritis caused by a medication reaction. After being told by doctors that nothing could be done, he was left to manage his pain alone. Massage school gave Jen the greatest gift— the ability to help those whom traditional medicine has overlooked.

Jen’s myofascial release (MFR) style is deceptively gentle yet deeply effective, incorporating mobilization techniques to enhance movement and reduce pain. She specializes in chronic pain, headaches, migraines, TMJ, women’s health issues, and autoimmune disorders. Having experienced these conditions herself, she understands firsthand how MFR can help manage symptoms and improve quality of life.

Her goal is to provide relief and empowerment to clients who feel unheard or dismissed. She believes in working collaboratively to help people reconnect with their bodies and take control of their healing journey.

Outside of work, Jen enjoys reading, spending time with her dog, gaming with friends, hiking, and snowmobiling. Whether she’s outdoors or unwinding with a good book, she embraces life with the same passion she brings to her massage practice.

Services offered: Myofascial Release (MFR), Prenatal MFR, Intraoral MFR, Pelvic Floor MFR, Pediatric MFR, FREE Phone Consultation

What Clients are saying about Jen E.

“I’ve only had one session so far but I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Skin to Soul! Even before I went for my first session, I had questions related to my personal health and Jen answered me in detail which I greatly appreciated. As soon as I walked in the door I was taken in by the atmosphere. Beautifully decorated and so relaxing and peaceful. Everything was immaculate. I went for my first-ever myofascial treatment for fibromyalgia with Jen E. and she was fantastic. She explained everything in detail and was very kind, knowledgeable and respectful. Wanting very much to help, but also mindful of my physical limitations and careful not to push too far. I appreciated that care and concern. I’ve had severe fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome for 30 years and nothing I try seems to work. Everything seems to set me back. It was only my first session, but it was a great experience and I’ve already noticed a slight loosening of my fascia in the areas where Jen worked. I can’t wait for my next session! I will write more reviews in the future as my sessions increase and I can evaluate my progress. Thanks so much Jen!”
