Roberta’s journey into massage therapy is a heartfelt testament to her deep desire to help others feel better physically and emotionally. Originally from Brazil, she earned her undergraduate degree in Physical Therapy in 1996, followed by a Master’s in Sports Physical Therapy. Her early career focused on using massage as a vital component of physical therapy, including post-surgical lymphatic drainage and rehabilitation. After moving to the U.S., she worked in the restaurant industry for a few years but always felt the pull to return to a healing profession.
In 2016, Roberta graduated from the Elizabeth Grady School of Massage Therapy, reigniting her passion for hands-on therapeutic work. Massage therapy was the perfect blend of her skills, energy, and desire to make a difference. She particularly enjoys working with clients to address chronic pain, postural imbalances, and muscle tension, using a therapeutic approach that combines firm pressure with techniques like Myofascial Release to create lasting relief and balance.
Roberta’s ideal clients are those dealing with orthopedic issues, as she loves investigating the root causes of pain and dysfunction to create meaningful change. She brings not only technical expertise but also deep compassion and intuition to each session. Her touch is intentional, designed not just to relax but to heal and restore, helping clients feel both immediate relief and long-term improvement.
Outside of her work, Roberta cherishes life’s simple joys. She treasures time spent with family and friends, finding joy in meaningful connections. She also loves traveling, dancing, watching movies, and soaking up the sun at the beach—recharging her own energy so she can continue helping others feel their best.
